职位描述：
The position is accountable to:
? Evaluate & secure compliance of every product with the updated H&M Chemical Restriction
? Inform internal / external stakeholders and implement new or updated Chemical Restrictions
? Conduct risk analysis of products, suppliers and the supply chain to identify potential chemical risks
? Investigate / analyze every chemical test failure to find the root cause and identify concrete solutions

Main Responsibilities
Secure Routines & Methods
? Perform internal lab chemical tests using H&M’s test methods
? Initiate and follow up external lab tests for chemicals
? Implement and follow Random test routines in the Country
? Register all tests and risk assessments according to the quality routine, and follow it up
? Keep lab instruments in good condition and maintain the calibration routine for required instruments
? Educate and train new colleagues and suppliers on H&M’s Chemical Restriction
Support other teams - Internal
? Analyze and identify the potential chemical risks of a product at the development stage. Maintain close co-operation with R&D and Merchandising teams
? Support the Merchandising team to solve chemical problems during the order follow-up stage through an analytical approach
? Support the Sustainability Auditor with regard to chemical issues
? Support the Capacity Assurance team to evaluate new suppliers, dyeing, printing and washing units
? Maintain close communication and co-operation with chemists in the Global Product Compliance Department and in other Countries. Keep them informed of local projects, share problems faced in chemicals and the possible ways to solve the problems
? Participate in global projects involving chemicals initiated by the Global Product Compliance Department or joint projects initiated by the Quality and Sustainability Department
? Maintain close communication with Quality Assurance Technicians and Colour Technicians in the Country

Support & Cooperation with External stakeholders
? Educate and inform suppliers on how to comply with H&M’s Chemical Restrictions in the best way
? Conduct chemical audits of dye mills, print houses, washing units, tanneries and plating units
? Evaluate supplier performance relating to chemical tests and give material feedback to the Product Quality Manager / Product Manager / seniors and to the suppliers
? Maintain close contact with the Chemical Responsible of suppliers. Conduct periodic education / workshops for the suppliers’ Chemical Responsible on updates in H&M’s Chemical Restrictions, common chemical failures & possible solutions to the problems
? Follow up every chemical test failure by initiating discussion meetings with suppliers and other concerned stakeholders. Request concrete investigations, explanations and action plans to solve problems
? Maintain close communication with third-party testing laboratories and monitor test lead times, tests and prices
? Maintain close communication with chemical companies and make new external contacts when it is necessary to solve problems

Education and Experience requirements
? Graduate in textiles chemistry or a chemistry engineering department
? Preferably experience in a dye house, print house, dyestuff manufacturing company or in the analytical department of a third-party testing lab 举报 分享
