Main responsibility

Analyze the developments/quotations, make sure all is clear.

Suggest alternatives and work proactively in order to reach best price, quality &

lead-time. Work together with PD, R&D and technicians

Send the development/quotation to best suitable suppliers (according to capacity

strategy set by PM team)

Use price history list, planned production units, capacity plan as tools when

distributing quotations to H&M suppliers

Get back the quotation from the suppliers and analyze the price according to our

price method, quality and lead-time. Send best package to buyer.

Give feedback to supplier regarding price and possible requests for

improvements.

Follow up deadlines for developments/quotations as per preorder method.

If an order is confirmed check that all details are correct and correspond to what has

been agreed.

In case all details are clear transfer order to Production Merchandiser for follow up.

Strengthen cooperation with R&D team, Production Merchandiser team and

Technicians in order to secure best garments for bulk production.

Make risk assessment together with R&D and Lab in preorder stage.

Share knowledge/problems with rest of the teams to improve and learn by our mistakes.

Create a good dialogue with buyers in Sweden.

Good knowledge of H&M suppliers' concerning price, quality, capacity & lead-times.






Main Requirement

Bachelor degree, major in Textile Engineer, Industrial Engineer, BA/Economy Degree

is preferred.

Experience of Textile/garment production, preferably experience from similar position

in supplier or representative office.

Good command of written and oral English

Good communication skill

Business minded and interest in fashion
