职位描述：

The Job:

Reporting to the China senior technical management, successful incumbent will be responsible for providing excellent technical project support to customers, from enquiry through to product development, molding trials and after sales service. His other functional responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Advise on material choice for applications;
• Attend molding trials and give guidance for optimized set up;
• Weekly visit reports & action plan management;
• Develop relationships with customer engineers;
• Learn what new projects are in the pipeline;
• Ensure we are the first call for new projects;
• To conduct regular customer visits;
• Complaint handling in terms of technical suggestions and product issues;
• Supervise strategic projects with existing key accounts and new prospects in Asia Region;
• Initiate product development / sample productions for new projects;
• Support new developments right from the beginning.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Materials or Polymer Science, higher degree is a PLUS;
• A min. of 6 years' relevant experience of which 3 should be in Engineering Plastics industry;
• Proven record in engineering plastics solutions and ability to resolve customers’ technical problems;
• Excellent communication skills and be able to build good rapport with customers;
• Demonstrated project planning, execution and cascading skills.
• Ability to travel within China and other APAC countries when required;
• Good command of spoken and written English a must.
• Home-base office in some occasions may be required.
