RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and execute complex to medium-risk software support and development tasks. Demonstrates sound judgement, creative problem solving techniques, and a proactive/independent working style to deliver solutions.

- Collaborate with the business users to detail system requirements and process flows
- Turn business requirements into technical designs that follow architecture, coding and applicable standards (.NET/SQL Server, Software Development Life Cycle)
- Develop and configure .Net/SQL software solutions that meet business requirements and design specifications (partner with users; analyze systems flows and work processes; investigate problems)
- Define test plans and adhere quality assurance standards, building quality into solutions
- Use analytical/reverse engineering capabilities and principles to drive system and process improvements
- Provide on-call support for solutions as part of the support rotation schedule
- Resolve complex to medium-risk IT application Incidents and Service Requests
- Present technical facts and concepts in a manner that can be easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences
- Maintain supportable applications, including user security controls, monitoring, knowledgebase, database administration and backup/restore mechanisms
- Provide feedback and coaching to other Software Engineers and team members
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-5 years of Software Engineering experience
- Minimum of three years in .NET C# and SQL Server web development,
- Experience with SQL Reporting Services, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and design patterns
- Moderate understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Foundation of coding standards and best practices to drive system supportability and stability
