Job Title: Product Engineer
Reports To: China Engineering Manager

Description:
The role of theProduct Engineer is to ensure that all products in production are manufactured reliably and cost efficiently.

1. Far East General Manager
2. Far East Engineering Manager
3. Key suppliers
4. UK Design
5. Far East QA Manager
6. UK QA Manager

Responsibilities:
1. Reviewcurrent products and ensure they follow engineering best practices.
2. Recommend improvements and manage the design updates.
3. Create 3D & 2D drawings as required.
4. Raise and manage the implementation of ECN with key suppliers.
5. Generate bill of materials and specifications for product manufacture.
6. Act as point of contact for engineering related activities on current products establishing good working relationships with clear communication and defined actions and goals.
7. Products Engineer will represent iCandy at Engineering meetings.
8. On a regular basis, report& reviewengineering issues withproposed solutions to the Engineering Manager.
9. Manage projects as required by iCandy.

Requirements
1. 8+ Years engineering product design and manufacture experience
2. BSME or equivalent minimum
3. Familiar with manufacturing processes eg: metal-work; injection moulding and finishings
4. 3D & 2D CAD proficiency in Solidworks or Pro-E.
5. Familiar with creation and managment of Engineering documents eg; BoM, ECN, PDM.
6. Experience in design for manufacture, mechanical testing, production processes &creating materials & component specifications.
7. Experience with taking products through the full development cycle into production
8. Good written and verbal English and Chinese language skills.
