Primary Role Objectives
? Develop, drive Marcomms offering for EC business with direction from Head of Marketing & Communications, China
? Develop/Implement regional activity/events calendar in alignment with China Marcomms priorities and regional business objectives
? Be recognized as a specialist in delivery of Marcomms solutions and a project manager
? Effectively manage regional budgets, drive vendor funded activities, manage supplier relationships
? Lead Shanghai Social Committee. Influence culture and fee-earners so Marketing processes are accepted and adopted
? Carry out other assignments as directed by Head of Marketing & Communications, China and Regional Managing Director

Key Responsibilities/Duties – Marketing & Communications


1. Develop and manage corporate and client events (e.g. seminars, appreciation events etc) to facilitate and reinforce market/brand awareness.

2. Create and update collateral, presentations, brochures, case studies, white papers, web content, newsletters, and office signage.

3. Maintain firm’s branding and visual identity guidelines. Ensure consistent adherence to guidelines for all marketing materials and activities.

4. Identify high-profile public speaking opportunities for business leaders to ensure high-level visibility in the local market.

5. Contribute regional content to regional and China communication platforms including newsletters and social media channels. Constantly explore, recommend, use and optimize communication methods, vehicles and technologies to engage with various audiences, particularly as part of fully integrated campaigns.

6. Identify and organize CSR and community activities and engage participation of local employees.

7. Promote and encourage employee communications and internal info-sharing (eg staff e-newsletter, brand training for new hires, news bulletins etc.) to ensure consistency of brand-related initiatives for local offices.

8. Lead Shanghai Social committee. Plan and execute employee events including but not limited to annual dinner, quarterly Shanghai Voice employee gatherings, annual company outing, family day.

9. Carry out any other assignments as directed by the Head of Marketing & Communications – China and East China Regional Managing Director

Required Knowledge & Skills
? Demonstrated ability in delivering results – requires skills of a hands-on marketer, with strategic insight, and able to challenge status quo and think out-of-the-box
? Demonstrated experience/education background in a broad marketing role in Advertising/PR, property, financial or professional services;
? Fluent in all aspects of the marketing – brand, media buying, digital, print production, web, outdoor
? Digital savvy and ready
? Strong writing and editing capabilities, specifically business writing, executive communications, creative writing
? Client focused, demonstrating ability to provide quality service and advice within Marcomms arena
? Sound decision making capabilities, demonstrating an ability to create persuasive and compelling recommendations
? Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organisation with excellent presentation skills
? Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
? Proficient user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and refined knowledge of computer tools.
? Proactive, independent, self-motivated and creative.
? Committed, highly flexible, and willing to learn and take up new responsibilities. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
? Attention to details

Experience & Qualifications
? University degree with at least 8 to 10 years of professional experience. (experience in property industry an advantage)
? Strong event management experience
? Presentation skills and ability to influence stakeholders
? Writing skills and ability to edit existing writing
? Proficient English speaking and writing
