Job Description:
R&R:
? Manage teams operation to ensure daily service delivery with satisfactory quality , meet SLAs Customer Engagement
? As 3rd level escalation point for customer requests or 1st level unresolved issues
? Solicit customer feedback to improve TCE continuously
? Responsible for teams Operational excellence continuous process improvement
? Strategic planning on team operation baseline and set up business BMPs
? People management, including compensation, performance management, and career development
? Providing operational & functional leadership to a team of exempt individual contributors and supervisors that typically support a moderately complex business unit
? Leads moderate to complex financial analysis for a global sub business or finance function, exercising a good understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives
? Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis to the business
? Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a limited scope
? Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design
? Drive strong work ethics, people practices, goal-setting, appraisals, and build and maintain highly motivated team
? Drive business and interface with the customer. Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with key members of the client team
? Manage costs within budget and drive productivity/efficiency.
? Drive best practice sharing, design process improvements, process simplification leading to cash flow/P&L impact
? Exposure in leading finance & accounting work in Asian countries (like Japan, Korea) – Good to have
? Exposure in process improvements and transitions
Job Qualifications:
Education
Preferably a chartered/cost accountant or equivalent finance qualification.
Experience & Competency
? 6 – 12 years of post-qualification experience with minimum 3 – 5 years of BPO type or IT service industry (back office, finance & accounting...etc.)
? Any Finance Qualification (Eg: CA, ICWA, CPA, CIMA etc.)
? Deep understanding of accounting concepts and principles is a MUST, working knowledge on ERP systems & SAP experience would be desirable.
? Fluency in written/oral Communication in English, Chinese, Cantonese, Mandarin.
? Fluency in Asian Languages like Japanese, Korean etc. – Good to have
? E2E understanding of forecasting, budgeting, month end reporting, variance analysis, Knowledge of US GAAP/FASBs on Accounting, revenue recognition, revenue deferral, Knowledge on Accounts Receivables Process, Procure to Pay, Record to Report is required
? Business Acumen to drive transformational projects, process improvements
? Best Practices & benchmarking experience
? Excellent relationship management & communication skills
? Excellent presentation skills. Ability to be able to make presentations to internal stakeholders and senior level managers (MUST have)
? Excellent ability to analyze data and make decisions
? Decision making, problem-solving and analytical skills.
? High tolerance of ambiguity and flexibility.
? Self-Starter, high sense of urgency with excellent ability to independently manage an operations of large scale & high visibility
