Description
Leads programs and projects regarding implementation of Quality improvement strategies, measurement and training within Global Financial Solutions. Supports leadership in driving quality culture and quality improvements within the organization. Responsible for identifying and improving process and program efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure that projects and programs align with the quality strategy and vision. Coaches and provides direction to the business or functional area on quality improvement projects in order to achieve desired business results.
Specialist:
Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate improvement opportunities. Works on problems/ projects of diverse complexity and scope. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues. Exhibits executive presence.
Responsibilities
? Manages and leads a program involving one or more functions and project teams to promote quality culture and drive the quality improvement process for a subsystem or component of a product or service offering.
? Develops schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan and other support requirements for assigned program.
? Co-ordinates activities of supporting project teams and internal and external partners; tracks progress against established plan and makes decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
? Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal development, manufacturing and service delivery partners to implement changes to product, process, or program plan to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.
? Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
? Project management certification such as PMP/PMI certification preferred
? Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred; LSS Green Belt certification mandatory
? Typically 12+ years of experience with 5+ years’ experience in Quality/process engineering domain
Knowledge and Skills:
? Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage and track project results
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills
? Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources
? Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets and resource allocation plans
? Excellent presentation and writing skills and possess the ability to generate very high quality, senior executive level power-point presentations on short notice
? Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals and results, and negotiate options at management levels
? Executes leadership in owning the maintenance and reporting function of key organizational records and standard operational reports
? Has good knowledge of & certified Auditor for Quality Management System like ISO 9001, CoPC, eSCM, etc.
? Has working knowledge of Minitab / JMP and/ other statistical tools
? Hands on skills with MS Visio
