职位描述：
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for business development, placement, shipment and post-shipment processes for designated merchandising area.
a. Business Development
Identifies potential vendors by pre-screening their production capacity, capabilities and business expectations.
Conducts market research and investigates product trends.
Communicates market intelligence to Product Managers and PD&D.
Ensures all sourcing objectives are met, including pricing and styling details and deadlines.
Coaches vendors to interpret product objectives and liaison appropriately with Production Services.
Retrieves all necessary information from systems to complete the above functions.
b. Vendor Relations
Under supervision of Senir Market Representatives, provides input into the vendor matrix set-up and maintenance and follows up on appropriate action items based on new and changing business conditions.
Provides development samples and costing information in a timely and effective manner.
Maintains strong relationships with local vendors to ensure production process and output – such as capacity, sample submissions, revisions, negotiations – are meeting Target standards and expectations.
Ensures vendors are coached on standard procedures and business expectations.
c. Program Management
Executes the sampling and order management process by communicating and liaising with appropriate counterparts Is responsible for post-placement follow-up and testing.
Coordinates with other functional areas to ensure all approval processes are compliant and completed on time.
Pulls all necessary reports from systems to support placement, shipment and post-shipment functions.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
College graduate with minimum 4 years merchandising and/or order follow up experience
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of U.S. retail industry and management style
Strong problem solving, negotiations, planning and organizational skills
Client-focused and service-driven
Team player
Assertiveness and initiative
