Position Description
Purpose of the Position:
Lead QC team to achieve plant/company objective
Drive continuous quality performance improvement
Work with cross departments and/or functions to improve quality control efficiency and effectiveness
Keep improving a positive working environment.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Team management, allocate task and team member based on daily working requirement
Ensure inspections completion on time, IQC, FAI, IPQC, FQC, OQC etc.
Gather and handle inspection data based on request
Push improving quality performance based on analysis data
Collaborate with teams to deal with non-confirming product/process/operation etc.
Product data/information(DHR) management for final product release
Product samples management
Equipment calibration and maintenance control
Design and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment
Work with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place
Operating environment monitoring and push keeping in a required condition
Lead and ensure 5S, environment, safety and health(EHS) to achieve the plant/company requirement and objective
Ensure the protection of Corning’s Intellectual Property (IP).
Build team and members capability to achieve objective
Optimize quality control system to enhance inspection efficiency and effectiveness
Cost reduction awareness in daily working
Interact with subordinates and/or functional peer groups
Communicate and share with QA internal team about needed information
Maybe some others
Project involved with:
Work with quality improvement project teams, to lead and/or support team focus on improving product and process quality performances
Take point on the projects which balance between cost and quality, to ensure keeping quality performance stable
Education & Experience
College degree or above of resin/plastic education background
More than 3 years working experience in RESIN INJECTION INDUSTRY
Life sciences( Medical device) working experience is preferred
Required Skills
Project leading capability (six sigma DMAIC)
Data analysis ability (quality tools)
Computer skills (Excel – Basic formulas, PowerPoint and Word)
Desired Skills
Experience in participating/leading complex projects with track record in successful project management
Multinational companies working experience is preferred
Soft Skills
Good presentation ability
Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks
Ability to collaborate across function
Competitive and willing to work hard to achieve business results
