Job description:
 
1. Working within the CIT team on the company's computer stitching/automation initiatives from development to implementation at a partner factory in South East Asia. Team up with machinery and equipment supplier to stay on top of latest technologies and trends.
2. Working closely with pattern engineers/design teams to establish stitching sequence of operations.
3. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all personnel involved in the product process, including our Design, Development and Innovation teams.
4. Identifying and documenting any potential problems that may affect production.
5. Working with factory to optimize line balance, maximize efficiency, line layout and process flow by applying Lean and industrial engineering principles.
6. Creating new and update existing best practice library and SOP’s

Knowledge/Experience ：
1. Excellent technical knowledge in footwear pattern making and manufacturing, focusing on stitching automation – mechanical engineering is a plus.
2. Understanding of industrial engineering/Lean values
3. Good problem-solving skills, open minded, creative approach for new ideas, analytical thinking
4. Strong communication and presentation skills
5. Proficient with PowerPoint, Word, Excel as well as image and video editing software
6. Fluent in written/ spoken English
7. Understanding of fabrics, synthetics and leather materials with in the sewing environment is needed
8. Work independently or within a team environment, follow direction, trouble shoot and meet goals and objectives
9. Ability to travel in South East Asia.
