Day to Day Responsibilities:
Lead LEAN workshop and engage in LEAN initiatives on projects across Corning businesses.
Adopt LEAN concept to streamline process to achieve process flow efficiency.
Factory layout and capacity design and planning.
Line balancing and work cell design.
Inventory management and warehouse design
Logistics design and planning.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and above in Industrial or Manufacturing engineering or related field of study.
Ranking of the Top 10 university in China with diploma is a plus.
Required Skills
Industrial engineering background with 3+ years experiences in LEAN and plant layout design.
Demonstrate ability in diagnosing and identifying lean improvement opportunities in operation settings.
Manufacturing facility experience, ideally with responsibility of analyzing and implementing process/systems in a high technology manufacturing process environment.
Solid experience in process and equipment layout design in manufacturing expansion project.
Work proficiency with Auto CAD.
Desired Skills
Factory simulation software experience.
Audit experience in manufacturing systems.
Soft Skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and directly with project customers to scope out project scope, identify project requirements and deliverables.
Team player, perform well as an individual subject matter expert contributor.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrate willingness and passion to learn new technologies.
