职位描述：
岗位职责:

1. Conceives original ideas for new products. Obtains ideas for new product requirements from customers, Marketing and Sales personnel, literary searches, etc., and translates these needs into product solutions and new design concepts that are technically sound, economical and manufacturable.
2. Determines performance and construction and other technical data relative to the design of new products. Performs engineering calculations to analyze and describe the project. Prepares preliminary development time and manufacturing cost estimates.
3. Conveys concepts and specifications to detailed designs.
4. Host concept and development design review meetings for the purpose of evaluating design requirements and developing production plans. Assists in modifying designs to meet requirements, simplify, improve manufacturability or make other improvements.
5. Assists in defining, requesting, and coordinating the purchase of materials, fixtures and support services for the fabrication of models, prototypes and samples. Directs support personnel in the completion of such projects.
6. Develops product verification/validation/qualification plan. Collaborates with test engineers to ensure tests are implemented in the right condition and procedure. Analyzes results, applying theoretical engineering knowledge, then describes and reports results, giving conclusions and recommendations.
7. Utilizes computer aided engineering tools such as CAE, CAD, PC's etc. to increase productivity, quality and efficiency of product development, design and analysis.
8. May interface with customers, vendors, Marketing personnel and other Engineering functions to analyze and solve problems encountered during the concept, development and introduction stages of new products.
9. Initiates or reviews Engineering Change Notices (ECN's) for all items within the realm of project assignments and their effect on function and cost.
10. Maintains project records and prepares technical progress reports, summaries and papers. Transfers all pertinent information developed through research, analysis, calculation and testing to Marketing or Manufacturing Engineering when appropriate.
11. Maintain and manage project deliverables according to PMP procedure.
12. Work with project management tools and PDM systems.
13. The work of a Development Engineer may also involve the development of processes, manufacturing methods, or operating procedures related to new concepts and products.
14. Collaborates with other functions to prepare customer samples on time, on quality.
15. Supports quality and other functions to do critical failure analysis.
16. Improves products performance/cost/quality continuously.

任职资格:

1. Bachelor or Master of Mechanical Engineering or related.
2. Min. of 5 years in product development. Experience in electro-mechanical/electronic/electricity product is preferred.
3. Advanced skill in 3D modeling and 2D drawing by CAD software (Creo, AutoCAD etc.).
4. Familiar with mechanical/thermal simulation and related software. ANSYS hands on experience is a strong plus.
5. Knowledge of injection molding, stamping tooling, and assembly fixture, etc.
6. Familiar with product development procedure. Good project management skills.
7. Advanced skill in problem-solving.
8. Good innovation and cost control consciousness
9. Good presentation skills
10. Fluent oral & writing English
11. Self-motivated, aggressive, open-minded and integrated. Able to independent work under pressure
12. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good teamwork and cooperation spirit.
