职位描述
Position Overview
· Establish reliable sourcing for all operating materials, including development of multiple sources where possible. Develop domestic (China) sources for materials where possible.
· Ensure negotiation of fair pricing in specifying and placing purchase order.
· Active participation in the materials cost reduction effort.
Responsibilities
· Source and manage required materials with focus on development of domestic sourcing whenever possible.
· To order, monitor and expedite purchased items locally and imported to ensure that they are delivered on time.
· Develop a reliable network of suppliers for the purchased materials as appropriate.
· Interact with the manufacturing department to ensure continuous improvement in purchased materials requirement, quality, cost and delivery
· Maintain and update SAP to release purchase orders
· Coordinate to clear import and export customs
· Work with corporate and suppliers to schedule the cost reduction plan
· Promote the company's TQ and ISO qualification initiatives
Skills
· Strong negotiation skills are essential.
· Ability to develop good supplier / buyer relationship
· Good written and oral communication skills in English
Personal Attributes
· Willing to learn new knowledge
· Self-starter with initiative
· Prepared to travel as required
Professional Qualifications and Education
· Have knowledge and experience at negotiating with suppliers in and outside of China
· BS degree in engineering or business from a major Chinese university
· 7-years of experience in a similar capacity in Foreign investment company
