Job Summary
Responsible for commercial aspects of tooling sourcing and procurement, including tooling cost analysis for plastic tooling/die cast tooling/prototypes, tooling maker identification and assessment, negotiation, cost containment, forecasting, and Customer (PMO/Supply Chain/Finance) interface.

Role & Responsibility
? Work with Operating Companies in China, North America and/or Europe to understand tooling (plastic, die casting, prototypes) requirements.
? Own tooling supplier strategy. Identify, develop and maintain relationships with best sources of scope tooling.
? Liaison between engineering, suppliers and customers (PMO/Supply Chain/Finance) to achieve the project timing, milestones and KPIs.
? With the support of tooling engineering team, negotiate and optimize tooling costs.
? Develop and manage OEM Supply Agreements, manage NDAs for new suppliers.
? Lead Team of Assistants handling liaison with OEMs and Customers and routine work including tooling RFQs, CNFs/POs Processing, expedites, etc.
? Continuous benchmark follow-up for tooling activities.
? Deliver daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports/summaries as assigned by tooling purchasing manger China.
? Travel through East/South China (Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, etc.).

Education/Experience Required
? Bachelor degree (or above) in mechanical/tooling/molding oriented engineering or related discipline preferred. MBA an advantage.
? At least 8-10 years tooling experience (sourcing, sales, technical) in appliances or similar products/industry in sourcing with solid negotiation experience and track record working for multi-national firm.
? Know plastic tooling structure well and can calculate new tooling and modification cost by himself.
? Proficient in verbal and written English and Mandarin; able to communicate with China suppliers as well as overseas customers independently
? Self-motivated, Independent.
? Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
? Able to work effectively across Functions
? Western experience a plus
