RM Development assistant
We are currently looking for a fabric development assistant for one of our leading Australian underwear brands.
Job Description:
? Coordination of raw material developments to ensure timelines are met and the product brief achieved
? Support the RM developer in the commercialization of R&D concepts into big ideas and seasonal ranges
? Provide technical advice and support to merchandising team
? Colour & print trial development work
? colour & print advice for seasonal ranges
? Co-ordinate the set up & maintenance of all RM initial & final standards in PLM to ensure they meet the deadlines of each season.
? Ensure R&D testing process has been completed with all due diligence completed before sign off.
? Communication with vendors, raw material suppliers to ensure all technical concerns are raised, discussed and resolved together with AU R&D.
? Attendance of weekly team meetings to ensure complete value stream is aware of any risks, concerns and these are problem solved.
? Maintenance of visual management boards to track seasonal developments and ensure escalation of any concerns
Requirements:
? Degree/Diploma in Textile technology/Textile or related disciplines.
? Experience developing and sourcing fabrics, trims.
? Computer skills: Word and Excel
? Excellent organizational and communication skills
? Excellent spoken and written English
? Mature thinking, energetic, analytical, attention to details, well organized.
? Excellent time management skills
