职位描述：
QC inspector is responsible and accountable in ensuring the quality and integrity of Deckers’ footwear products that are produced and shipped out from partner production factories through incoming material screening audits, regular in-process production audits and final goods inspections as well as assisting certified factory QC inspectors. He is also tasked to monitor production order schedules versus ex-factory commitments.

Job Scope

a) Monitoring of commercialization timelines (tech trials plans) to ensure production timelines are meet.
b) Materials, work in-process and production process Quality Assurance and Control.
c) Finished goods final inspection and initiating action plans to address issues found in 3rd party inspections and following up proper implementation.
d) Working out and implementing of quality and productivity improvement programs.
e) Production order status monitoring.
f) Monitoring and implementation of ESC compliance.

Essential duties and responsibilities

a) Regularly conducts materials, process and quality audits in production workshops to ensure that appropriate processes, QC tollgates and process controls are properly implemented and that critical quality issues are immediately addressed.
b) Checks and confirms production materials and color swatches to ensure compliance to production specs and confirmation sample.
c) Performs and is responsible for the final QC inspection on the finished footwear to ensure the quality and integrity of POs that are released for shipments in accordance with Deckers AQL and Final Inspection Guidelines.
d) Monitors results of 3rd party inspections and initiates the preparation of action plans in coordination with the factory as well as monitoring the implementation.
e) Monitors production order status of his assigned factories vs factory committed ex-factory dates and reports any potential delays to his immediate superior.
f) Monitors material suppliers and contract factories compliance to established “material physical property” requirements as well as “restricted substance” guidelines. Reports to his immediate superior any critical quality issues that he cannot resolved on his level.
g) Monitor the progress of a continuous improvement (CI) program that are agreed upon and help push for its implementation.
h) Prepares regular reports as required by his superiors.
i) Do other special projects and tasks as may be assigned by his superiors.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience:
? Minimum 3 years working experience in a reputable footwear company in either production, commercialization, development and quality control, 1 years of which in commercialization/development and quality control.
? Comprehensive knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes.
? Good verbal and written English communication skill.
? Computer literate
? Preferably college graduate or footwear technical school graduate.

Skills/Knowledge/Behavior:
? Good product eye and quality conscious.
? Must have high moral integrity (non-corruptible).
? Comprehensive knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes and Team player.
