Responsibilities:
1) Market & Technology Analysis and Supplier Development (covering cost, quality, delivery) for Global Purchasing
2) Planning, initialization, execution and tracking of Sourcing and Cost Reduction Activities
3) Project Management for Localization projects (Project tracking & supervision, regular project status meetings with local Purchasing team, collaboration with Head of Project Management)
4) Support global Strategic Purchasing work (development of processes & tools within Global Purchasing / support Head of Global Purchasing)
5) Training and coaching of local Purchasing staff in collaboration with Head of Purchasing China (Best Practice / Training on the job)
6) Support Head of Global Purchasing (planning & controlling, global Purchasing initiatives).
Requirements:
1. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1) Good knowledge of Chinese/Asian Purchasing market
2) Professional in Purchasing/Supplier Management (processes, methods and tools)
3) Experienced in Sourcing and Market Analysis
4) Project Management and Coaching Experience
5) Experienced in working with foreign Companies, German or European companies are preferred.
6) Leadership skills, enable to lead project teams
7) Willingness to travel and work in China and Europe
8) Skilled in Office software and SAP system
9) Fluent in English, CET-4, preferably fluent in German
