Job Scope:
? Being a BMAP Manufacturing leadership team member and responsible for the plant operation, including planning and directing all activities in the plant with the aim of achieving optimum quality, cost control and delivery service required by business.
Key Responsibility:
EH&S
? -Ensure EH&S strategies are developed in the plant and engage resources as necessary to have accident free work place.
Operation
? -Formulating short-term resource strategy to meet business goals.
? -Jointly establish yearly operation goals, objectives and performance standards with direct reports.
? -Fully accountable for results of the plant, ensures maximum efficiency and productivity of production facility.
? -Focus on driving for continuous improvement, ensures production volume, cost and quality to support business development
? -Able to communicate with impact at all levels of the plant in order to effect process and performance improvement efforts
-Understand, support and provide detailed, hands-on leadership for plant operational improvements
- Responsible for communication with employees, external parties and the Board of Directors
Talent Management
? Manages and trains department managers, evaluate and upgrade talent as required to strengthen plant operations team.
Culture Change
? -Change management leader and responsible for addressing resistance to change.
? -Barrier remover for continuous improvement initiatives
Quality Service
? -Makes quality/service requirements a key part of all plant strategies.
Selection Criteria
? The successful candidate for this position will have good job related experiences. Skills that are required to be an effective Plant Manager include:
? Three or more years of experience at the plant management level, Considered a functional expert in one or more areas
? Good knowledge of Lean sigma, manufacturing, quality, EH&S
? Proficient in leading, training, and facilitating teams
? Good communication and leadership skills, result oriented and proactive.
? English oral/written communication skills
? Computer literacy
Education
? A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Management is essential. Demonstrated leadership in professional organizations is a plus.
