JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

? Manages, Trains, Develops & Leads the GSMA GPA HHI Sourcing Team for Company Products.

? Manages Existing Supplier Relationships and Strategic Supplier Accounts.

? Collaborate on the Development and Implementation of Global Sourcing Strategies and Operating Plan Budget.

? Achieve Year over Year Productivity to meet/exceed Corp Objectives via Cost Based Negotiations, Working Capital, Productivity, MCTO, LEAN and VA/VE.

? Negotiates and Executes Annual Contract Manufacturing Agreements, Supply Agreements, VMI Agreements, Consignment Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Master Purchasing Agreements and Exclusivity Agreements.

? Manages market dynamics relative to controlling raw material and currency inflation/deflation on product portfolio.

? Develop strategies and execution plans to support corporate Working Capital reduction goals.

?Selects & Develops suppliers into strategic partners bringing value & innovation to the SB&DK supply base.

? Performs and Manages Competitive bidding process, Make vs Buy analysis.

Assures 99% Customer Fill rate goals via Supplier Performance Management and Supply Chain Support.

? Reporting monthly to Senior Management at Goal Development Reviews (GDRs), Business Reviews, Commodity Strategy Reviews, Product Development Reviews and/or Operations reviews.

? Evaluate, measure and report Supplier performance metrics and scorecards.

? Resolve Warranty, Liability and RTV Claims with Supply Base to recover costs per contact terms.

? Serve as Project Leader or Team member on strategic Assignments assigned by Sr. Management.

? Assigns responsibilities and priorities to team members, removes barriers which impede progress.

? Mentors Sourcing Leaders and Purchasing Engineers on tactical and operational issues such as preparing RFQ’s/RFP’s, Bid Analysis, Capital Appropriation Requests, Purchase Orders, invoice issues, product or tooling development efforts, material supply issues, and related supplier/plant issues such as warranty/quality returns and credits.



ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as required by manager.

Leadership/Cultural Competencies:

? Ability to Interface & Collaborate Effectively/Strategically with SBDK Sr. Leadership & Supplier Executives/Owners.

? Experience & Capability to Coach, Lead, Mentor, Teach Sourcing Team in LKF, GPA & XM Sourcing Team.

? Strong Decision Making Skills



EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS:



Experience:

? Minimum of 5 years combined Supplier Management, Global Sourcing, Commodity Management, Program/Project Management, Finance, and/or Manufacturing Operations experience.

? Proven negotiating skills, Team Leadership/Mgmt Skills, and Project Leadership experience required.

? Demonstrated Staff Management and Development Skills required.

? Strong analytical skills required.

? International Business Experience required.

? Plumbing industry knowledge and experience a plus.

? Extensive Understanding of Existing Plumbing Mfg Supply Base and Supply Chains beneficial.

? Experience Managing Asia based suppliers required.



Education:

? Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Technical field or equivalent experience required.

? MBA or advanced degree desired.

? Certified Purchasing Manager [CPM] Certification desirable.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

? Considerable knowledge of sources of supply, markets, price and commodity trends with ability to accurately predict/anticipate marketplace events and develop action plans that anticipate/prevent implementation challenges.

The ability to:

? Analyze and organize facts to effectively present material both verbally and in writing.

? Effectively utilize communication skills, both oral and written, in order to present, influence and persuade other inside and outside of the organization.

? Interface with employees at all levels in the organization.

? The ability to provide leadership through influence.

? Skilled at facilitating dynamic, cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding performance.

? Proficient in the use of Microsoft office computer systems and applications, with intermediate to advanced skill levels in ERP/MRP Systems, e-Sourcing applications, spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, database programs, system applications….etc.

Other Requirements:

? Up to 75% Travel Monday through Friday and some weekends.
