Our client is a top-tier multi-national Chemical company. They are currently seeking a Process Development Manager to join their organization in Guangzhou.
Job Title: Process Development Manager-a Chemical plant position
Report to: Plant Manager
Responsibilities:
? Implement new product introduction and product transfer including feasibility study, cost evaluation, technical information receiving, process familiarization and support to commercial production
? Perform lab and scale up experiment and provide reports
? Support to define commercial production conditions and prepare BVO
? Involve PSM and hazop studies
? Support introduction of new production technologies from process design and Capex
? Involve raw materials localization projects including lab trials, new supplier validation and support to commercial production
? Optimize production processes
? Support setting up process development lab
? Support complaint investigations
? Support R&T in exploring new chemistry
? Responsible for lab result and work report
? Quality consciousness in commercial production
? Comply with EHS policy from authority, company
? Follow EHS regulation from company and department
? Follow appropriate procedure for equipment operation and experiment performing
? Properly use PPE and keep them in good condition during daily work
? Ensure EHS related information are indicated in BVO and production process are safe from operation point of view based on existing knowledge
? Report any illegal or irresponsible operation against to authority or companies policy or regulation to management in time
Education: Master or Ph.D in organic chemistry, polymer, chemical engineering or equivalent.
Experiences: 5 yrs chemical lab experience or pilot lab/plant experience, at least 2 years management experience, project experience is a plus
Know-how/skills: knowledge in organic chemistry, polymer, chemical engineering and specialty chemical manufacturing; good and fluent Chinese and English, computer skills
