Job Description

? Overseeing all Far East development, commercialization and production for footwear and accessory lines.
? Partnering with Design team on the execution of all seasonal development projects with outside suppliers, while tracking, publishing and reporting progress on all projects.
? Maintaining Company-owned tooling, lastsand raw material inventory.
? Working with supervisor on cost negotiations; delivering cost reduction opportunities per company goals.
? Executing all deliverable dates against multiple seasonal Product Calendars.
? Working with suppliers on maintenance of seasonal W.I.P. report.
? Driving quality initiative by working closely with supplier and factory QC teams.
? Overseeing Shanghai-based 3rd party warehouse.
? Working with suppliers to find high quality, low cost manufacturing facilities.
? Ensuring that Company interests are not jeopardized by illegitimate manufacture of company-designed products, by securing and maintaining appropriate supply agreements.

Requirement
? Minimum 10 year’s experience in a manufacturing environment, with background in sourcing, production, and/or product engineering/development.
? Skilled at negotiating costs and payment terms with manufacturers.
? Hands on, team-oriented and committed to business improvement processes.
? Strong problem solving capabilities.
? High level of integrity and ethics.
? Strong, tough business acumen.
? Well-developed project management and analytical skills.
? Hands-on / high-energy style.
? Results-oriented – operates with sense of urgency.
? Effective and efficient verbal and written communication.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office/Mac version of, and familiarity with Adobe.
