Job Title: Product Developer
Location: China,DongGuan
Status: Full time
Travel: 10%-20%
General Summary:
Incase is looking for a Product Developer who is responsible for overseeing operational and product development objectives. This includes, but is not limited to defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, working closely with US product development team to ensure timely completion of assigned product lines. The PD communicates with internal teams and external suppliers to expedite projects and looks for ways to improve methods.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Work closely with US PD team to achieve long-term and short-term operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans
? Communicate status of projects
? Analyze factory or ODM efficiency and proactively manage changes in company priorities, identify issues and mitigate risks
Management
? Keeps project tracking documents updated weekly for assigned projects
? Resolves issues which arise during the product development timeline.
? Manages project budgets for molds, prototypes and travel expenses.

Strategy
? Manages project calendar with cost tracking, features/benefits matrices.
? Communicates the line plan and features/benefits to the design team.
? Ascertains developers understand all features/benefits in detail

Process
? Presents to Management, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Operations.
? Conducts prototype reviews with key product/feature updates and current status.
? Suggests improvements to development processes within specific line of business.

Development
? Makes sure product meets line plan objectives:
a. features/benefits
b. cost targets
c. design spec’s
d. material/component/cut-and-sew timelines
? Directs product revisions by taking ownership of development stage for projects.
? Understands and executes best practices of product manufacturing methods
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s Degree
? Minimum two years’ experience in a Product Developer role
? Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently and successfully
? A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
? Ability to communicate effectively with team members and upper management
? Working knowledge of mobile technologies, products and tools preferable
? Flexible hours- some evening/night hours required
? Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
? Three years related experience and training
? Developing soft goods and framed cut-and-sew consumer product
