Bar Manager
Shenzhen Brewery
Future Brewery in the Shenzhen, China is searching for a full-time Head Brewer who can be creative while still having a solid knowledge of the basics. If that’s you, and you’re ready to take your amazing talents and bring them to the table, then apply today!
Job Responsibilities:
? Take responsibility for the business performance of the bar
? Analyze and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability
? Organize marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes
? Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales
? Create and execute plans for department sales, profit and staff development
? Set budgets or agree them with Headquarters
? Plan and coordinate menus
? Coordinate the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
? Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff
? Respond to customer queries and complaints
? Meet and greet customers, organize table reservations and offer advice about menu and alcoholic drinks
? Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash
Job Requirements
? Minimum 5-8 years of restaurant/bar management experience
? Excellent interpersonal skills for handling staff and customers
? Strong written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English
? Good business awareness for achieving successful performance
? Team working skills to be able to lead a team and be a part of it
? Strong planning and organizational skills to run operations
? The ability to work independently and confidently to make your own decisions
? Problem-solving ability to resolve issues as they arise
Desired:
? Degree in management or other related field
? Excellent communication and record keeping- Results Driven
? Strong knowledge of the local brewery industry and market
? Strong computer knowledge
? Love of popular craft beer styles (Pale Ale, Pilsner, IPAs, etc)
