职位描述：
Responsibility/Duty:
? Develop (as necessary) and maintain published standard key performance metrics for CTS Modified Starch plants, and use these openly, positively & constructively to improve operations.
? Ensure consistent standards are applied across the manufacturing sites in the area.
? Improve the consistency & capabilities of the Modified Starch product line and plants in order to support existing market growth and support new product developments.
? Ensure external benchmarking and development tracking is in place in area of expertise to avoid missing important industry developments.
? Provide guidance & support to manufacturing & engineering for new projects. Serve as key member of PDP project teams as technology lead or project manager, dependent upon project size and scope.
? Coordinate and provide design, start-up and optimization of new processes.
? Reduce risk, reduce the process impact on the environment and lower costs in order to improve operational efficiency.
? Continusouly improve yields & reduce waste in order to improve operational efficiency.
? Provide specialized knowledge & advanced troubleshooting for the relevant manufacturing processes within the location. Provide effective guidance and support to manufacturing and engineering for new projects and advanced problem solving.
? Create innovative solutions (both incremental and breakthrough) in the areas of optimization, new technology, or products. Identify and define value added projects.
? Ensure accumulated knowledge & best practice is appropriately shared & captured within Starch organisation to build Intellectual capital advantage.
? Collaborate with other functions (PPD, Manufacturing, Engineering, Product line management) and other PDG to develop processes for improvement initiatives and new products. Aid in the transfer of new products/processes from PPD to production.
? Liaise with plants and modified starch product line to ensure effective communication of project priorities, progress & results.
? Perform as core technology contact for the business on specialized processes to outside contacts like vendors, institutes etc.

Education, Experience,Skills
? University degree in Food or Chemical Engineering/Science based discipline (or equivalent)
? At least 5 years experience in manufacturing of which 3 years in a specific area of relevant technology
? Capability and willingness to continue to develop and broaden an extensive knowledge of relevant areas of expertise
? The ability to work effectively with cross-cultural and functional teams
? Excellent verbal & written communication skills
? Fluent English language ability
? Demonstrated ability to understand complex operational, engineering and business activities.
