Responsible leadership and management of the AEMEA’s Capital Planning and Administration function by being in responsible charge of processes and procedures by which capital spending, asset and infrastructure investment & renewal, is planned, approved, controlled and reported to Senior Management. The position provides a focal point for consistency regarding capital spending within Engineering, Manufacturing and IS and is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enabling processes for capital spending, including adherence to Corporate Policies, external resource management, time reporting, and cost managemen Capital Program Management
- Manage the Capital Project Approval Process in accordance with the Financial Control Guidelines
- Monitor, analyze and report capital spending on a weekly and a monthly basis. Assemble, appraise, analyze, and report consolidated capital budget
Capital and Expense SAP Internal Order Management
- Coordinate with the Global Technical Solutions group to ensure that Internal Orders (I/O’s) are set up as required to support the business needs.
- Provide support to Operations Engineering, Logistics, IS and all other corporate groups by providing expertise in SAP requisitioning, purchasing, accounts payable, general ledger, storeroom and goods receipts and movements as required.
Asset Administration
- Support the E-ROIC goals of the Corporation by effectively monitoring the timely TECO’ing and closing of SAP Capital Internal Orders
- Play a leadership role in defining asset structure and proper accounting of Capital Internal order costs. Develop programs and procedures consistent with Financial Accounting and asset management policy.
- Plan and develop procedures to accurately complete asset identification in plants which are traceable to appropriate procurement and payment practices as part of the asset management process.
General Support Services for Engineering
- SAP and Purchase Requisition training and support
- IEM/GTR Meeting coordination
Education: BS in an Engineering, Science or Business Administration from an accredited college/university
Experience: 8+ years of experience, 3 of which are in responsible technical and capital management
