Responsibilities

1. Group Compliance

- Follow the Group Procurement Frame Agreement of the responsible categories.

- Work with each country procurement team in Asia Pacific to ensure proper execution of the agreement.

2. Supplier Management

- Manage supplier relationship and performance in the zone.

- Share supplier performance data with internal procurement teams and suppliers for future business decisions and performance improvement.

3. Data Analysis

- Extract and consolidate spend data of the responsible categories

- Analyze the supplier proposals and negotiate with suppliers with Group team

- Look for other cost-saving opportunities in the responsible categories

4. Category Management

- Define a sourcing strategy and plan optimize supplier number in the zone, along with Group Procurement team, for the categories.

- Identify and develop potential suppliers and organize qualification for new suppliers

5. Others

- Promote Good and Best Practice sharing.

- Provide inputs to the purchasing saving goal setting

Requirements

1. BS or BA degree in Business or Trading

2. Experience in indirect sourcing or sales & marketing or project management with at least 5 years; knowledge of supply base and products is a plus

3. Strong skills of negotiation, data analysis and project management; supplier performance management is required

4. English: advanced level for verbal and written business communication.

5. Strong computer skills and proficiency in the use of Ms Excel, PowerPoint

6. Good communication and facilitation; multi-national work experience is a plus
