Our client is a chemical group headquartered in Hong Kong and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Our client is one of the largest chemical producers in China. Its three core businesses are solvents, coatings and lubricants.

Reporting Lines 汇报关系:

Department: R&D

Report to: R&D Director

Subordinates: TBC

Key Responsibilities 主要职责:

1. 作为集团驻上海研发中心技术专业人员，直接向研发总监汇报；
2. 支援上海研发中心及集团内其他子公司，通过优化生产工艺，解决在研发和生产过程中 的产品性能、颜色效果、安全质量等方面的难题；
3. 生产工艺培训；
4. 领导研发中心团队内的工程师或其他研发人员完成指派的涂料工艺相关的科研项目。

1. The newly created position will be based in newly set up Group R&D Centre located in Shanghai and directly reported to Group R&D Director.
2. Provide support to the R&D Centre and subsidiary companies within the Group.
3. Handle the technical issues of product features, colour, effect, safety and quality assurance etc. arisen in the process of R&D and production by optimizing the production and process technology.
4. Design and deliver coating technology specific training internally.
5. Lead the team to complete different R&D projects as assigned.

Job Requirements 任职要求:

1. 化学/化工专业本科或以上学历；
2. 20 年或以上涂料生产技术工作经验; 一定的项目领导/管理经验；
3. 熟悉国内外涂料行业技术情况，掌握较领先的涂料技术；
4. 沟通能力、问题分析及解决能力强；
5. 一定的普通话水平，能作技术沟通。

1. Degree or above in chemistry / chemical engineering or related disciplines
2. Minimum 20 years of experience in production and process technology in coating industry
3. With project management experience
4. Familiar with the coating industry in Mainland China and the overseas and keep abreast with the trend in technology
5. Master advanced and robust coating technology
6. Strong communication and analytical skills,
7. A problem solver
8. Fluent in Putonghua is a must
9. Willing to work in Zhangjiang, Shanghai and travel within China.
