Role Objective:
? Represent Talking Tables in Asia to ensure all Talking Tables premium brand, private label and supermarket projects and products, are delivered on time to the quality befitting the brand, according to product specifications and customer requirements.


Production Coordination (70% of role)

? Ensure all elements of the production cycle are monitored and updated on every Talking Tables, Customer Own Label and Supermarket project.
? Measure and report daily on the progress of orders to UK team, highlighting any issues.
? Monitor dates against critical path using our internal system (WinMan).
? Guide suppliers to understand and fulfil specific requirements such as:
o Sampling and approval expectations
o Unique carton marking instructions
o AQL inspections
Ensuring activities are managed to these requirements.

? Using our internal systems (WinMan), update approvals on products, barcodes and carton markings for items in production.
? Generate, issue to suppliers, and approve carton markings on all products.
? Coordinate all samples to arrive in time for key customer meetings (UK / US).
? Obtain, approve and log on our internal system all pre shipment samples for reorders.
? Review, approve and log on our internal system, all in house and third party AQL shipment inspection reports.
? Support shipping clerk to ensure all suppliers meet goods ready dates agreed.
? Report back to UK daily on the productivity and quality standards of our supplier base through communication via Skype, email, phone calls.
? Conduct frequent production visits to existing factories, checking on progress of orders and standard of product.
? Work with suppliers to plan around external problems that may occur during production (weather / government issues)


Sourcing Support (10% of role)

? Support UK sourcing and technical team by conducting pre site visits, when required. Communicate observations and recommendations back to London team.
? When required, seek out new suppliers:
? To enhance existing supply routes
? To respond to new sourcing requirements
? Monitor and proactively seek out sourcing opportunities (for example by visiting new trade shows etc.)
? Represent Talking Tables at Canton Fair and relevant trade shows and host UK visitors
? Assist with itinerary planning and trip objectives.
? Publish notes on visits and send updates to the wider team.


Quality Assurance Support (20% of role)

? Build and coach a set of trusted suppliers in China on Best Practice.
? Work with suppliers to ensure quality of product specification is adhered to.
? Manage the AQL inspection schedule and work with UK team to support on the approval of shipments.
? Work with factories, product developers and supply team to ensure continuous improvement is implemented.
? Work with UK supply team to populate and monitor KPIs for our key suppliers.
o Carefully assess key areas and critical functions such as:
o Quality control / samples / technical capabilities / on time delivery
o Identify weaknesses and work collaboratively with factories to enhance their performance. 举报 分享
