Responsibility:
- Verify products before leaving vendor to ensure products meet specific standards.
- Perform on-site inspection in the stage of sample making, pilot production and mass production.
- Write inspection reports and submit daily inspection records to office.
- Review factory self-inspection report and follow up with vendors.
- Work with related developer to establish product tolerances for inspection.
- Communicate with supervisors and internal parties for getting information and reporting product status.
- Assist Quality Engineer in updating quality documents.
- Help to follow up vendor Corrective Action Plans when problem arisen.
- Perform the duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary graduate or above.
- 3 years or above work experience in quality inspection, related experience in buying office or trading company will be an advantage.
- Experience in social compliance audit will be an advantage.
- Familiar with international sampling standard such as ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 and ISO 2859.
- Good command of English in reading and writing.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), English and Chinese word processing.
- Good communication skills to work and liaise with different internal and external parties.
- Self-motivated, well organized, responsible, stable and able to work independently and under pressure with patience.
- Frequent travel throughout China factories is required.
