Key roles and responsibilities for the Director of CBRE Project Management are:
? Acquire an in-depth understanding of company and culture in order to lead the Chinese business in a manner that relates well to company’s values and objectives.
? Develop a vision and a business plan for the region. Identify critical issues that must be addressed to realize this plan and establish specific short-term and medium term objectives, plans and priorities, and measurement tools.
? Grow team and capability to self deliver Project Management.
? Provide strong and effective leadership to the current team, ensuring that all levels of staff are motivated to contribute fully to the realization of the business plan.
? Identify and close opportunities for the full range of service offerings.
REQUIREMENTS
The selected candidate will possess an optimal combination of the following qualifications:
Professional Experience & Abilities
? Senior level business development and operational experience spanning facilities and project management, and brokerage services activities.
? Has held responsibility for employees and has demonstrated the leadership to rally people behind a common vision.
? As a true leader, has the ability to be a team leader as well as a team player.
? Should have been in roles for sufficient time to plan, implement, harvest and live with the results.
? Ability to investigate and, if beneficial, negotiate acquisitions, strategic alliances and partnerships that will further enhance the Company’s value proposition with its customer base.
? Interest and ability to cross-sell all CBRE integrated services.
Personal Qualities
? Displays an entrepreneurial and creative spirit, motivated and excited by the challenges and opportunities in developing new markets and new business opportunities while delivering results in an established organization with a defined culture.
? Strategic thinker with a strong action/results orientation.
? Strong business acumen/understanding of the economics of a business.
? Demonstrates an innate ability to lead, able to motivate and inspire others, build morale and generate enthusiasm, pride and commitment.
? Armed with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; able to engage the organization, the customer, and other key stakeholders and establish a high level of credibility.
? Excellent spoken and written English, spoken Mandarin and written Chinese would be an advantage
? Impeccable ethics, maturity and confidence.
? High energy and willingness to travel.
