Position Summary:

The Product Compliance Specialist is responsible for management of Product Compliance and Restricted Substances programs and maintaining company product safety standards throughout the global manufacturing base, with the goal to meet customer requirements, reduce/eliminate risk to consumers, the environment, the company and brands.



Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing Restricted Substance List (RSL) program implementation, RSL compliance and enforcement, RSL testing programs, product compliance corrective action plans, supplier product compliance tracking and reporting

Responsible for distribution, communication and on-going training of corporate RSL and product safety policy to liaison offices, mills, vendors and supply chain partners. Serve as a technical resource to business partners for product safety and compliance requirements

Establish and manage a database for RSL test results, material and product compliance documents and declarations of conformity. Facilitate with liaison office Materials, Production, Sourcing and Corporate Responsibility Managers to create a vendor compliance tracking and certification process that incorporates RSL and product safety compliance

Conduct onsite factory audits for chemical management and RSL compliance when necessary

Support research on sustainable chemistries or green chemistry



Requirements:
Degree holder of environmental /chemistry / textile related discipline

Familiar with global compliance regulation such as CPSIA, REACH, KC mark, GB standard

At least 3 years relevant experience in Apparel and Footwear Industry

Good communication and analytical skills

Good command in spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)

Candidate with practical testing experience from commercial laboratory is also considered

Travelling is required
