Job Title: Operations Associate
Location: Shanghai

Principal Accountabilities
1. Gain knowledge of the Trade Finance business, including export/import transactions, trading of money market instruments, special trade and funding structures, etc.
2. Preparation and execution of documents related to TSF activities based on approved templates.
3. With guidance from TSF China and Singapore team, execute TSF trades in adherence to the TSF Standard Operating Procedures. Handle trade settlements with counterparties.
4. Verification of completeness and authenticity of trade finance instruments.
5. Maintenance of positions in the inventory system. Regular review of positions to ensure accuracy of inventory records
6. Liaise with other functional groups including traders, forwarders, accounting and treasury to resolve any problems and provide assistance where necessary.
7. Ensure that work processes and procedures are in compliance with Cargill and RMFS policies and standards.
8. Participate in special projects as and when required.

Education
University degree in banking/finance/accounting or commensurate experience

Experience
2-4 years working experience in MNCs or Banks

Skills
1. Good PC skills.
2. Good written and spoken English.
3. Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
4. Good organizational skills and is detail oriented.
5. Demonstrated team player and is able to work under minimal supervision.
6. Able to manage different priorities and work well under time pressure
7. Some accounting knowledge would be an advantage.
