Job description

1.Communicate the QA plan to the suppliers in the source base to ensure a clear understanding and ownership.

2.Maintain positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.

3.Promote the concept of defect prevention within the supplier base.

4.Keep abreast of modern quality management systems and lead supplier base to adopt RFT (right first time) methodology.

5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

6. Brand Experience = working for a Brand and not supporting a Brand as a customer (brand = Euro, USA, Japan, China major brand

7. Quality Systems Management = How a factories quality system is to operate from a best practice POV. Not simply the knowledge of how to inspect finished product.

8. English Skill Set = From a moderate level. Means candidate they write, speak and read enough to complete their own audit paperwork, corrective action plans and do not require further translation assistance.




Education and/or Experience:

1.Preferably a Degree or equivalent in textile technology with a Certificate in Quality Assurance from a recognized institution.

2.Minimum of 02 years experience in the field of Quality Assurance in garment industry, if

with a degree or a minimum of 05 years experience in the field of Quality Assurance in

garment industry, if without a degree.
