Job title: Commercial Manager
Report to: General Manager
Work location: DongGuan, Guangdong Province
Job Descriptions:
- Development and execution of Sales and Marketing plans to maximize market opportunities;
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing and potential customer;
- Seek future market expansion opportunities;
- Manage and develop team to achieve business targets;
- Understanding customer needs and optimizing on pricing policy and service offerings;
- Ensure appropriate advertising & promotions activities and events;
- Ensure departmental accounts and enquires are managed effectively by team and work improvement process is in place;
- Accurately analyse market trends and pursue opportunities for developing marketing plans and strategies for implementation consistent with company's positioning strategy, market trends and analysis;
- Gathering market intelligence and making competitive market analyses;
- Managing key interdepartmental relationship.
Dimensions:
- Determines business direction, target market segments, approach to market;
- Recommends budget, turnover and revenue targets to achieve;
- Standardisation and harmonization of pricing structure and approval of quotations and agreement not within standard pricing structure;
- Recommends broad guidelines for contract terms and conditions;
- Initiates advertising & promotions and organizing Customer events;
- Handles response to customers on strategic issues, complaints etc..
Minimum requirements:
- Degree with 5 years relevant experience in sales and marketing with strong managerial and team supervision/ development experience;
- Preferably with good working knowledge in Petroleum / Petrochemicals;
- Experience in relevant industry with deep business process related understanding of technical and operational processes, initiatives, market trends and industry pricing structure;
- Besides organizational competencies, skills managing customer relationships at strategic level, project management, interpersonal and communication skills, organizational savvy, business acumen, strategic thinking, resourcefulness, creativity and networking skills.
