# Type of work
Consultant (at the level of a QC manager) to help buying offices and trading companies that want to re-organize their QC operations.
Based in Shenzhen. Travel out of Shenzhen/Dongguan 20-40% of the time.

# Content of the work
- Discovering and assessing the current situation and the problems of a company’s QA/QC operations (based on our audit checklist)
- Explaining how we can help the company improve its organization
- Working with QC supervisors/managers to clarify their current workflow, and to draw an ideal workflow
- Working with QC supervisors/managers to write/adapt the procedures their company needs
- Training inspectors and coaching them, based on a procedure
- Auditing inspectors when they do their work
- Auditing the way QA/QC office employees apply the procedures, and suggesting changes to those procedures

# Skills and experience required
- Good English, both written and spoken.
- Solid experience (at least 5 years) in QC inspections and QC supervision, preferably in several foreign companies (not necessarily third party inspection agencies)
- Experience in writing procedures and work instructions, and in drawing flow charts.

# Talents required
- Strong communication skills. Capable of presenting the advantages of a solution (a new type of organization, a new IT tool, etc.) to an audience, and capable of leading a discussion in a constructive manner.
- Strong analytical skills. Capable of understanding a complex situation, asking questions, and proposing solutions.

# Personality required
- Curious; interested in discovering how different companies are organized.
- Enthusiastic and excited by the opportunity to work with smart people, help them, and learn from them.
- Rigorous and professional — consultants need to project a positive image.

# Pay and benefits
- To be discussed. Depending on the candidate’s profile and experience. A part will be fixed and a part will be variable.
