Business Context:
The Product Group (PG) Quality role works within a Regional Product Group organisation (an aggregation of category technologies within a region) focused on factory operations, implementing, executing, improving and providing technical quality support to manufacturing sites (UL and third party), engineering, TIM teams and RCLTs for QMS compliance, innovation execution, early equipment management and quality improvement
This role reports directly to Cluster Quality Director.

Main Responsibilites:
§ Deploys UL Quality strategy, governance and goals through Product Group specific projects and targets
§ Provides expertise, leadership and support in Quality management for resolution of Quality issues within manufacturing sites, engineering and material suppliers
§ Ensures compliance and calibration across PG network sites to UL Quality Management System (including CRQS, HACCP plan reviews, Operational Quality Reviews) and supports Quality deployment through TPM Pillar and RVSs
§ Assesses and ensures core technology equipment design, process changes and specifications meet local regulatory requirements and product quality needs (including cleanability etc.)
§ Verifies that third party co-makers can meet UL Quality standards by conducting technical capability assessments, intensive care and non-conformance monitoring and providing Quality support for issue resolution
§ Supports Quality Champions in RCLTs to drive Quality improvement through data analysis, workshops, toolkits
§ Ensures Quality processes for IPM Functional Excellence are implemented for all innovations and prepares innovation transfer plan / documents for new product introductions for factory
§ Builds Quality talent (recruitment, coaching, training) within the PG community
§ Provides Quality leadership to influences Quality culture through visibility and coaching across the PG

Requirements:
• University degree in Science/ Engineering
• At least 10 years experience in Quality, supply chain and/or R&D in foods products
• Proven & recognized achievements in Change Management
• Manufacturing Experience
• Good experience and hands on knowledge in supplier audit management, trouble-shooting, new product development or launch preparation in factory
