Job Description
The primary purpose of the SCL(Software Client Lead) is to develop software business in the China Telecom entities in South China plus ZTE both directly and through field and other channels.
Responsibility for achieving revenue target and YTY growth is aligned with Brand Sales, and the ISU teams. Individual performs this function in such a way that builds value for the customer and facilitates opportunities for future sales. Sales will apply in-depth understanding of the engineering and manufacture process and workflow solutions that meet the needs of the large COM accounts. Demonstrates strong business acumen, successful negotiation skills and strategic networking savvy to build and execute firm-wide strategies to meet overall revenue objectives.
Major Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
Drives new revenue by identifying opportunities, participating in pre-sales calls, delivering customized presentations
Manages the complete sales cycle for the specialized product lines, including working with customers, prospects and the account team, from the prospecting stage through closing and implementation.
Identifies and analyzes underlying customer business and sales issues
Act as an expert solution consultant to the Software Sales team, ISU team, GBS, and other colleagues.
Participates in lead generation activities
Build strong relationships with customers and create trust and confidence at multiple levels, including users, key contacts, managers and C-level executives, to increase revenue opportunities.
Required Skills
Education/Experience:
BS or BA required; or other advance degree preferred.
Five years or more of experience in sales or consulting in the information technology industry or related high-value engineering and service products or services- preferably into strategic or national accounts.
Government business/application experience and knowledge preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated ability to achieve strong sales, revenue and growth goals.
Outstanding negotiation skills
Thorough knowledge and understanding of workflow solutions for law firms and experience understanding the litigation process required.
Excellent presentation, writing and communications skills. Includes the ability to present complex solutions in a customer-facing environment in a communication style appropriate to the audience, which will include C-level executives.
High level of initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple activities and reprioritize when necessary to ensure revenue goals is achieved.
At least 5 years experience in experience in sales or consulting in the information technology industry or related high-value engineering and service products or government business architecture.
