Responsibilitie：

? To understand and analyze carefully customer’s technical requirement based on their process and recipes and offer standard products and solutions. Define and understand clearly the requirement and technical challenge and cross it with our available products and provide solutions with the most practical approach. 15％

? To understand customer’s requirement and delivery it to operation plant; 10%

? Assist operation plant for customer audit;

? Work with QA team following food safety legislation and regulation to ensure delivering legislated products and food solutions.

Qualifications:

· University degree in Food Science, Food Engineering or related discipline

· 3+ years’ experience with specific technical service or production experience in the concerned categories (beverage,confectionary,cream,bakery,dairy,can,meat,beer) is a must.

· Proven skills in customer oriented technical service

· Strong listening , communication skills and practical hands-on approach in problem solving

· Must be familiar in the use of equipment in the lab as well as on-line production facility for the specific category concerned.

· Understanding of ingredient applications in the field of the concerned category: ability to recognize/understand, properly communicate with internal team on the customer technical challenge and likewise to communicate and explain well to customer on the functions of our products and solutions for customers, via product demonstration and presentation of results.

· Experience in specialty products, especially for functional system, specialty starch, hydrocolloids would be of preference.

· Prefer QA/QC background;

? To prepare samples for trials for internal tech service lab and also for customers trial. To carry out small scale lab trial with miniature or bench equipment in order to provide convincing finished product demonstrations for customers. 10％

? Focus on fast track projects only and achieve technical success by using standard products in our existing range, assess by lab trial comparisons and make suitable selection, or in combination, or through modification of dosage and process to get to the quick success of the project. 15％

? To work hand in hand with Sales Team in order to ensure consistency of promotion, product selection and commercial fit to customer’s demand and strategy laid down by Technical service Manager. To assist and guide customers to duplicate successful lab trials and in enlarged on-line plant trials. Guide and assist customer to complete plant trials as required and achieve desired results. 20％

? To arrange and provide customers documentations (product data sheets, trial results analysis, presentations on product + application introductions, promotion materials), under local language. 5％

? To communicate closely with RDA team, to learn and gain training to understand product‘s specific characteristics and performance, how it works and then convince customer via demonstration, trials and technical discussion. Also download internal training at the sales team. When our existing standard solution fails, or customer’s technical challenge is out of technical service’s capabilities, then feedback clearly to RDA team and communicate effectively to request for new product / solution innovation and development. 15％

? Set up trial protocol and also consult RDA for help whenever necessary and communicate with RDA on methods and approach of evaluation or analysis. 5％

? Collaborate with other Cargill BU’s commercial organizations in the region on customer projects and opportunities. 5％
