Job Responsibility

Primary Responsibility
? Develop an engineering team, provide training and guidance to team member
? Conduct performance for team member, lead the team to achieve the goal
? Define and implement relative procedure for new process of PVD.
? Trouble-shooting of painting/powder coating/printing rejection and process issue.
? Introduce new technology/ process for potential project
? Monitor NPI, review the progress with the team, insure activity done according to schedule
? Ability to identify cost saving opportunities by improving process, cycle time etc
? Ability to work with ODM team from initial design stage
? Other work assigned by department manager

Secondary Responsibility
? Lead the department to pass internal & external audit
? Conducts training sessions on painting process and activities
? Develop new technique.
? Liaise with customer to accomplish painting tasks
? Training the painting/powder coating /printing Engineer

Job Requirements

? Bachelor degree holder, Major in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or related;
? 10-12 years experience of PVD process and materials; Box build experience is required.
? Technical knowledge and application skill in painting / printing/ powder coating processes development.
? Fluent in standard product/process release and documentation practices.
? Trouble-shooting and analytical skills (root cause analysis, DOE, FMEA, Statistical engineering) are preferred
? Be familiar with automation equipment of painting, including industry robot Painting.
? Knowledge in painting jig design for metal part is an asset
? Strong project management experience and skills
? Six Sigma Black belt.
? Good at MS office, AutoCAD, Pro/E
? Good command of spoken and written English
