Job Description:
Monitoring and reporting to PCL on the quality aspects of samples through all stages of commercialization – sealed PP sample to shipment
Monitoring of bulk production ensuring ex-factory dates are met and key personnel are updated on production status
Conduct Initial Production Check Listing (IPC)
Conduct During Production Check Listing (DuPro)
Conduct Final Random Inspection Check Listing (FRI)
Defect/Claims Inspection Reporting
Factory Evaluations
Responsible for ensuring the supply base adheres to defined CSR procedures
Experience with garment inspections, both finished and unfinished
Experience with fabric, mill and dye inspections
Experience in measuring garment points
Knowledge of manufacturing process and QC Inspection SOP’s
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Liaison with Product & Quality Manager ensuring accurate product representation in bulk production
Role Requirements:
In depth knowledge of Inspection Levels, AQLs and sampling plans, ANSI/ASQ Z14 (ISO 2859-1)
Demonstrated proficiency in any or all of the following apparel inspection types:
Auditing inward T2 fabrics and trims to ensure only quality goods are accepted by T1 prior to cut.
Involvement in product development and sampling stage to manage quality aspects of samples.
Ensure that no faulty fabric is sent for cutting. If minor faults are present in fabric, defects should be marked on fabric and communicated to PING UK for assessment and T1 Mgt Staff prior to cut.
Preparing audit report of fabrics and trims quality to PING UK.

Loading Supervision – Pre-Pak
Sampling (Pattern Alignment)

Experience with on-site pull testing for garments
Experience in measuring garment points
Knowledge of manufacturing process and QC Inspection SOP’s
Understanding of factory/warehouse/dock safety rules and procedures
Lead and mentor T1/T2’s tied to Exec Ops Reporting – emphasis on PO RFT and OTIF fulfillment
Make cost savings recommendations to PING UK
Language/Education/Travel Requirements:
Excellent English/Chinese verbal and written communication skills
Two year degree from college or technical school or equivalent experience in apparel QC
International travel required to UK, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, USA
Frequent overnight travel by car or plane (50+)
