Responsibilities
Be responsible for implementing Global SAP projects
Contributes to configuration of more complex business processes to maximize SAP benefits. Works with IT technical and redesign staff to ensure that systems are configured properly. Ascertains that appropriate documentation is completed and that business partner(s) and IT experts all concur with changes made to business operations. Prepares presentations to justify changes and publicizes to all affected parties. Work with business partners and IT technical resources to create functional designs by utilizing joint application development skills. Should be perceived as "go to" expert for particular areas of the business and related SAP modules, SAP bolt-ons or programming languages
Exercise superior analytical ability to consistently demonstrate and share unusually clear understanding of cross-functional business(es) processes and to design programs to develop enterprise-wide and/or international or global technical/business best practices using integrated systems. Derive new ways in which to accomplish required work processes with more efficiency, higher quality, and/or utilizing fewer resources.
Manage major improvements, most often involving technical/business operations at multiple sites. Oversee prioritization of work based on knowledge of technical complexity and in concurrence with middle/upper level business managers. Design and deliver presentations to top management concerning technical issues. Encourage teamwork at every level and make effective use of talents of re-engineering consultants, leaders and team members (internal and external resources). Facilitate good communication and cordial interactions between everyone working on project(s).
Capable of handling escalated major concerns quickly, effectively and in the Company's best interest. Proficient in identifying countermeasures to prevent or minimize likelihood of recurrences. Direct projects/teams comprised of IT technical experts, business representatives and re-engineering management staff
Utilizes superior organizational skills and planning capability to develop / redesign programs involving multiple departments to benefit the Company. Coordinates highly complex and/or conflicting activities so that scheduled objectives are consistently met with the highest attainable results. Ascertains that all responsible parties follow project plans so that all goals are successfully achieved. Also, prepares reports concerning issues and problems and recommendations that need to be addressed by upper management.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
Provide technical direction advice to upper level managers. Works with top IT and business management to strategize major re-engineering projects/programs to ensure maximized value from SAP systems configuration/utilization. Ascertains that appropriate documentation is included in plans. Assist in formulating technical strategy for overall company.
Ability work within a team environment as well as individually
Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
Must be organized, accurate and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Comply with all policies and procedures implemented by the Company to satisfy legislative requirements, particularly EH&S, Financial and Employment legislation

Requirement
A Bachelors and/or a Masters degree in computer or information science related major.
At least 6+years(consultant3-4 yrs)of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes: Development of major application systems from start to finish; installation/enforcement of development methodologies/standards; and multiple concurrent project management. Related business analysis experience, preferably in a related industry and detailed knowledge of multiple functional areas like manufacturing operations, supply chain management, customers service and logistics, electronic commerce or sales force automation, preferably in a major manufacturing industry is a requirement
Proven skills as an integral team lead/member on at least 3-5 full cycle implementations.
Proficiency and strong knowledge in at least one area of SAP functionality like Finance & Costing, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution etc. for SAP versions 4.7 c & ECC 6.0 including configuration of the module(s) and knowledge of related processes and systems required.
Ability to develop software programs, end user applications and reports within SAP platform by accessing data would be a requirement for position requiring programming support. Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming principles for developer position is a requirement. The programming/coding experience in not required for positions requiring configuration of SAP modules, but is a plus. SAP Certification in SAP functional/technical areas will be a plus
Experience in supporting SAP ERP upgrades and knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse software will be a plus
Must be able to analyze, design, document, configure, test, train users and implement programs and systems using prescribed standards
Strong analytical skills & initiative at picking up new knowledge. Initiative and strong team leadership skills are expected.
Language bi-lingual in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
