Requirements:
? Expert knowledge of running and supporting Enterprise Scale Services and infrastructure at internet data center environments is required
? Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems and other Microsoft technologies, including SQL, IIS, DNS, .NET, SCOM, Hyper-V, Active Directory
? Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, SIP, UDP, RDP and other network protocols. Experience with capturing and analyzing network traces. Strong networking knowledge of load balancing appliances and technologies
? Understanding and proven working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, XML, .Net Framework, Debugging, TCP/IP and deep understanding of OSI Model.
? Minimum 2 years of Operations experience in a 24x7 production environment, preferably Online Services
? Minimum 2 years of working knowledge of web-based services, operations, system design, data center/infrastructure and communications technologies;
Responsibility:
? Assist with technical and operational support for the Web/Application Infrastructure specifically for the AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY Operations team in support of STB properties. Vendor will work with internal AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY Operations team to perform troubleshooting for applications and systems and provide senior level technical support for AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY project activities directly related to the STB web infrastructure, including IIS servers and associated hosted applications. Vendor will maintain infrastructure configuration standards. Vendor will provide troubleshooting support for services requests created by hardware monitoring and software related utilities such as server and network management tools. Vendor will work closely with internal AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY Operations teams including Operational PM teams to assist with work including:
? Coordinate with the AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY System Engineering team on re-occurring tasks including, but not limited to: site monitoring, troubleshooting and capacity management.
? Provide technical knowledge and systems planning support to meet agreed upon availability and uptime requirements managed by Microsoft.
? Reasonably assist the AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY System Engineering team in its coordinating and resolution of complex systems issues relating to deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure services hosted on Windows Azure.
? Proactively handle troubleshooting, resolution and escalation of AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY site and service issues, and software problems that may affect AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY operations that could not be resolved by the SOC help desk.
? Reasonably assist AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY in driving automation of routine tasks by leveraging technology available within and outside of Microsoft.
