COMPANY: The Company is a marker leading supplier of electrical distribution, industrial control, and automation ptoducts, systems, and services.
Headquartered in France, the Company offers all PV power solutions and localized customized services to global customers covering confluence system, inverter systems, grid-connected system, security system and booster system by virtue of the mature complete product line and the strong research and development strength.
JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent will be primarily responsible for deployment, implementation, hosting, on-going maintenance, and support of the Company's web-based software solutions.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-day management of application infrastructure, ensure that the application components are running well and providing services to customers
Deployment & implementation of new software, new versions of software
Be proficient with application infrastructure underlying the hosted platforms to be able to perform proactive maintenance, suggest and implement preventative activities or tools, and perform reactive support when required
Work closely with the Global REM Operations team located in North America
Work closely with the China REM Operations team located in Beijing
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related program (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of two years experience in a software operations environment
Expert practical knowledge of the Microsoft Windows OS family: Windows Server 2003, Server 2008
Strong knowledge of IT operations principles, including maintenance best practices
Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, FTP, HTTP
Experience working with SQL Server?, including operation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Strong working knowledge of SQL with ability to write complex queries
Proven ability to learn quickly, multi-task and handle pressure to meet tight deadlines
Proven ability to take personal ownership of an issue and get the job done
Ability to clearly communicate an issue to the teams affected
Top notch interpersonal skills: you are team-oriented, positive, collaborative, have excellent communication skills, and work well with others
Strong English skills
Willingness to travel. Travel will be occasional but the successful candidate will be expected to attend 6-8 weeks on-the-job training in the USA
