JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent for REM will be responsible for development and delivery of the next generation Cloud-based Remote Energy Management platform in China.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in software architecture definition of the cloud-based REM platform.
• Responsible for requirement analysis, software design, implementation and unit test, with cloud computing and Internet technologies.
• Work with other software development and test engineers to deliver software releases on time with good quality.
• Support cloud management team to deploy new systems and resolve operation issues.
• Lead and mentor junior members.

WORK INTERFACE:
Internal:

• Work close with Operation Team on business design and customer requirements discovery;
• Work close with Cloud Mgt on system architect design and pilot deployment;

External:

• IPO connection
• SECI IPO process & standard
• ITEL follow up
• Global REM Team
• Global REM architect & operation management connection
• Other stakeholders
• PES EMS Software Team for site connection

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of full life-cycle software development project experience.
• 3+ years of project experience in building complicated Internet applications, or SOA-based multi-tier enterprise applications.
• 2+ years of project experience with Microsoft web technologies, including .Net Framework, C#, XML, WCF, WSSF, WIF, ASP, Web UI, JScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
• 3+ years of project experience with OOAD and OOP.
• 2+ years of project experience with RDBMS and SQL programming.
• Understanding and experience with UML and design patterns.
• Understanding and experience with xUnit test framework.
• Understanding and experience in large scale system development and performance tuning is a strong plus.
• Understanding and experience in NoSQL database is a strong plus.
• Experience in mobile application development (based on iOS or Android) is a plus.
• Understanding and experience of cloud computing technologies is a plus.
• Experience with web UI design is a plus.
