职位描述

Strategic Brocade focus areas include:
1. Storage networking (SAN)
2. Data center Ethernet fabrics and IP routing
3. Software networking (SDN and NFV)
4. Campus networking
Emerging senior leader that provides technical direction and business guidance to the Account Sales team. Guides the technical day-to-day sales activities and demand generation activities to help reach regional revenue goals. Proactively develops and maintains a high performing technical team of SEs/Solutions Architects and continually seeks methods for improving team performance.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans in the area of your responsibility, maintain close relationship with major customers & partners, oversee proposal activity, identify new business opportunities, meet revenue commitments, develop SE capabilities and hire top SE talent into the company. The ideal candidate will have experience as a seasoned systems engineering leader, with a proven track record of leading people successfully, as well as managing sales activity preferably across China..


Day-to-Day Responsibilities
1. Manages a team of SE Managers and SEs that specialize in pre-sales activities of Brocades products.
2. The primary function of this position is to direct groups of System Engineers, Solution Architect and SE Managers in territorial, partner-specific, customer-specific or project specific areas.
3. Has a general knowledge of SAN/IP Networking technology, but concentrates on strategic management of entire System Engineering groups, evaluating and setting policies and directions for the group.
4. Helps set and drive corporate company policies.
5. This role will have ownership and involvement in multiple GTMs Direct, OEM, and Channel & GSIs.
6. The position will support all specific business groups SP, Enterprise, CSPs in the geography by deploying dedicated or shared SE resources.
7. Ability to articulate the strengths and benefits of Brocades value proposition, technology and key products. Lead and coach SEM Team to accomplish key objectives
8. Maintain pipeline of potential SEM and SE recruits
9. Create and execute development plans for SEM and SE Talent
10. Maintain close communication links between field SE team and SAM/RSM/RSD/VP Sales
11. Analyze the local market opportunities and develop technical communication plans to generate incremental opportunities
12. Support the regional PR activities.
13. Play the role of a key spokesperson for Brocade at conferences, seminars and media events
14. On-going SEM performance reviews with annual report Definition and assessment of SEM/SESIPs
15. Manage the utilization of the SE Solutions/PoC Labs, field demonstration facilities and demo equipment
16. Develop and manage key technical relationships with OEMs and customers in the region
17. Work closely with sales management to achieve revenue goals


Requirements:
1. Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent with 8-10 years related networking technical sales industry experience and 4-5 years management experience.
2. Develop team members capabilities in support of individual career goals and team objectives
