ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Organizing, managing and follow up of transport of goods
2. Communication towards forwarders, customers, customs and other functions within or outside of team for transportation issues.
3. Internal calculation of transport costs. Do analysis to optimize cost (sea/air, mini. Charge minimization, etc.), Validate freight invoices and proceed payment.
4. Regular review SOP with forwarder and communicate to relevant parties (e.g. suppliers, customers) to ensure their understanding/agreement.
5. Monthly reports related to transportation spend, OTD performance, action plans, work with order team to monthly review with customers.
6. Work with corporation transportation team in RFQ review and negotiation, Communicate with forwarder for new quotation request, Maintain rate sheet accordingly as well as surcharge updating or rate adjustment.
7. Lead Logistics team

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in international trade, or logtistics.
2. More than 5 years' experience in export/import trade or forwarding management, at least 2 years' experience in team management.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Good knowledge and experience in ocean and air operation
2. Have strong understanding of process flows and be able to clearly communicate process issues and opportunities with colleagues
3. Be able to multitask and demonstrate good time and priority management
4. Good communication skills in English & Mandarin
5. Have systems knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP and be able to apply these to analyze and solve problems
