职位描述

This position will work closely with Apex manufacturing team tokeep production lines of Apex transducers running in the desired condition thatmeets the factory’s operational metrics on yield,quality, capacity, and delivery. He/She will also work with R&D engineeringteam to ensure the design and development of Apex transducers meet highstandard of manufacturability and/or serviceability.

Specifically, the job responsibilities include:

• With reasonable guidelines, drafts and releases productionprocedures and work instructions documents for transducers manufactured in theproduction line.

• Participates and contributes to assigned well-defined tasks ofprocess standardization, process improvement and optimization, production andproduct quality improvement, production efficiency improvement/lean production.

• Contributes in certifying of product reliability, reduction ofscrap rate and failure analysis

• Works on assigned tasks of analyzing root cause of assignedissues/problems found in the production line and from field, and drives forsolution for the assigned issues; defines and maintains the process and qualitydocumentation

• Involves in the NPI and process evaluation following Apex’s product sustaining process; assists the establishment ofnew product production line

• Works with senor engineering staff for sound judgment and makingdecisions.

• Pro-actively seeks out, learns, applies and shares with othersnew technical skills on an ongoing basis.

• With reasonable guideline, can understand and followproduct/transducer creation processes, development phases, deliverables, andphase reviews processes, and also good at following Apex sustaining procedure(change procedure) for executing and releasing changes of products or processes

• Responsible for the assigned tasks’quality of work, reliability, schedule, cost and completion of tasks on one ormore modules. Deliver quality results in assignments

Requirements include: a highly professional and self motivatedengineer with

• Requires a Bachelor or College degree, major in IndustryEngineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electromechanical Integration,Machinery Manufacturing, Biomedical Engineering or Electronic Engineering, orin equivalent field

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in product manufacturing;familiar with the process of production manufacturing and quality management.Experience in the areas of manufacturing of medical ultrasound transducers ispreferred

• Demonstrated history of solid occupational ethics

• Capacity of conducting statistical analysis of data and turninganalysis result to solution.

• Ability to operate independently with reasonable supervision; Hastechnical skill for issues resolving and troubleshooting

• Acts as a mentor to EIs, EIIs in the engineering team, and steersskills to focus on technical and project problem solving skills;

• Able to work within a project team and utilizes resources toproduce good results

• Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectivelycommunicate and/or present complex technical issues to engineers and managers

• Knowledge and understanding of technical requirements associatedwith area of work and how it relates to the final product.

• Proficient in both Chinese & English; CET-4 or above
