Field Service Engineer
Job summary
The successful candidate is responsible to maintain, service and support our metrology tools in the field.
Duties & Responsibility
1. Maintain, tune our metrology tool on customer site.
2. Repair or fix issues arrises from hardware and or software fault.
3. Create new recipes and maintain current recipes in relation to customer request.
4. Interact with customer, solves application related questions, forward questions to main office and retransmit answers to customer.
5. Able to work alone.
Knowledge
1. Very good understanding of the following
a) Electronics.
b) Optics, microscope, spectrometry.
c) Motion control, simple robotics and automation.
d) Micron and sub-micron level measurements.
e) TCP/IP networking, SECS/GEM operation.
f) Software in relation to software drivers, communication using RS232 and Ethernet.
g) Computer vision and imaging.
2. Semiconductor fab operation in relation to metrology equipments.
Qualifications
3. Three or more years working experience in servicing and maintaining metrology equipments.
4. Able to work extended hours and over weekends.
5. Have experience in writing MSVC++ software in relation to the following
a) Device driver communication.
b) RS232 & TCP/IP communication for device control.
c) Real time controlling of devices.
Education
Requires minimum BS Degree in electronics engineering or Physics.
