职位描述
?1. Category Assessment
1) Market intelligence including but not limited to macro economics, culture environment, and trend, industry development status, category development status and trend, retailer environment and trend, existing business model. Etc.
2) Competitor intelligence including but not limited to main competitor business status, market position, competitor business model; marketing strategy (brand positioning + 4P);
3) Consumer and shopper understanding including usage and attitude, shopping habit and decision journey.
2. Category Strategy development
1) Define/scope to develop category vision
2) Identify “ Where to play” choices (country, sub category/segments, consumer segment and price segment) and “How to win” choices (key initiatives) and required “Enablers” and provide scenario/options as input to overall offering strategy
3) As result of “ Where to play” and “ How to win”, develop portfolio strategy, propositions line up per sub category including range/family logic , 3 years roadmap for propositions & technology (together with R&D)
3. Proposition Development
1) Define product family level strategy including line up, generate consumer insights, develop concepts, external and internal differentiation (OEM/OBM) and claims
2) For new proposition define global pricing guidelines including RRP, OBM margins and transfer pricing,
3) Coordinate product planning across the matrix, in particular with product divisions (R&D, Overseas Sales, Design, Quality) and MID HQ (Legal, Marketing, Quality, Consumer Care) and subsidiaries; develop new proposition business case and get approval; briefings of R&D and market research; actively manages product lifecycle.
4. Launching
1) Own Launching process and all planning and deliverables related, steers/briefs the development of Product and Marcom assets, and ensures on time delivery of product launch.
2) Co-develop launch plan (3 year marketing plans) together with countries and Marketing department
3) Post launch evaluation, consolidate and share learning
5. Business Management
Manages the product group P&L, global sales revenue, margin, expenses and profit as well as AR and Inventories
Qualification
Min 5 years’ experience in PM (ideally mix of global and local) from consumer side.
Home appliance and/or mobile, background, CPG(FMCG) experience is also desirable.
Analytical, conceptual thinking, creative problem solving abilities.
Able to work under pressure or in a high performance environment.
